Volunteers serve at the Branch within the Parish that they reside.
We have a network of 13 Branches island wide (Kingston & St Andrew are administered together) representing all 14 parishes.
A volunteer is motivated (by the free will of the person) - to performs hours of services for an agency or organization for civic, charitable or humanitarian reasons without promise, expectation or receipt of compensation.
A volunteer participates actively in the work of the Jamaica Red Cross adhering to the Seven Fundamental Principles of the organization.
A prospective volunteer/member should as a prerequisite, participate in an orientation exercise arranged by the branch and attend at least three (3) meeting of the branch or area group.
